This webinar will provide an overview of the 2022 hurricane season projections with Florida's State Meteorologist Amy Godsey. We will also provide updates on response planning from state agency partners, including the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Florida Department of Health, and the Agency for Health Care Administration. Meeting objectives include: Provide an overview of Florida's meteorological partners' 2022 Atlantic Basin hurricane season forecast predictions. Discuss hospital and community preparedness considerations with Florida state agency leaders. Review important response considerations for hospital and health system emergency management planning. Understand critical factors that challenge hurricane response and FHA’s role in emergency response. Hospital and health system executives, department and service line leaders, emergency preparedness coordinators, clinical leaders, and other FHA member professionals are encouraged to participate in this important webinar.
